My Perfect Wash and Go
If you know me, you know I’m a Wash and Go girl and if you don’t know, you’re about to know! Wash and Go’s can be unpredictable but these are the products that never fail me, the ones I reach for time and time again for consistent results. From shampoos to styling products, let’s get into it!
Let’s start at the top - Shampoos
Something about a squeaky clean scalp just resets my whole life which is why the Melanin Hair Care African Black Soap Shampoo just does it for me every time, its an OG, what more can I say?
One of my newer faves is the Ouai Detox Shampoo which leaves my hair super clean and shiny. This product has apple cider vinegar in it which is amazing for detoxing and balancing pH, and it smells so good. It’s a three for three! This shampoo leaves my hair looking, feeling and smelling amazing and it’s featured in my 2022 wash day routine for spring and summer video linked below.
my go to Product line
The Briogeo Don’t Despair Repair line is my ride or die. It has never failed me! My top three Briogeo products are: Don’t Despair Repair Shampoo, Don’t Despair Repair Conditioner and Don’t Despair Repair Deep Conditioning Mask. I am OBSESSED with this product line and I love working with this brand. I can’t wait to share more about my trip to the Hamptons with Briogeo (yep your girl got flewed out!). Shout out to fellow creator Bianca Renee for putting me on to this gel! It’s SUPER curl defining and gives a light to medium hold that doesn’t weigh your curls down.
Bomb Ass Fro Curl Defining Jelly
This is seriously one of my holy grail gels! I just keep going back to this one, my curls can’t get enough. Watch me use it in my Black Owned Wash and Go.
I’ve been a Camille Rose stan since the beginning of my natural hair journey. It adds amazing shine and its medium hold means it couples perfectly other gels or a mousse.
